Reading of five major asteroids in the natal chart to include, Chiron, Pallas Athene, Ceres, Vesta and Juno.

Chiron:

Chiron is the wounded healer. This newly classified planetoid focuses on where one is likely to be hurt in life and what one needs to do, which often is dealing with or confronting that area of hurt. Chiron opens the door to trauma and how we deal with physical, psychological pain and hurt in our life, as well as how we can heal from them as well.

Pallas Athene:

Pallas Athene deals with one’s wisdom and strategic intelligence, and how that inner force, voice, knowledge or light is likely to be expressed, repressed or challenged through strategic choices, tactical moves or errors. An important asteroid to assess in the natal chart of leaders and those who hold position of influence, power or authority.

Ceres:

Ceres is Earth Mother and Goddess of agriculture. Ceres in the horoscope tells us how we are nurtured throughout life and how we nurture others to meet essential material needs of food, clothing and livelihood. It is the principle of unconditional love, how we receive and give joy to ourselves and others. In each sign and house placement, Ceres plays a different role in how nurturing in given, received or expressed. An important asteroid to assess and interpret for those in the health, hospitality and caring fields. Mothers need to understand how Ceres works in their chart as well as the chart of the child, husband, sibling or family member to whom care is received or given.

Vesta:

Vesta is the keeper of the sacred flame or fire that burns perpetually within giving a sense of hope, joy, honor, love, happiness, status or glory. It is a flame that burns brightly from within each individual, essentially giving us life. Finding one’s twin flame often means coming into harmonious conjunction, aspect or alignment with Vesta in another person’s chart through sign, house placement, modality or element. Vesta is important in assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a relationship or bonded encounter (e.g., doctor-patient, lawyer-client, teacher-student, pastor-member, etc.). Vesta shows in the natal chart where we are likely to make sacrifices and how the rewards of those sacrifices affect our lives positively or negatively primarily through sexual expression (the id or instinctual expression) or repression. How much we are willing to take and how far we are willing to go can better be understood and explained through Vesta. It is an important asteroid to assess for those who take on professions where a lot is required of them in dealing with people, weird and unusual situations or circumstances that may be contrary to the individual’s life style, posture, belief system or position in life.

Juno:

Juno is the standard by which marriages and marital bliss, happiness and compatibility are judged and attained. Hence, couples marry in June to attain her blessings. Juno has very much to do with our ability to bond and hold a position in life whether it is good or bad for us or serves our interest or not. It is an important asteroid that is used to examine compatibility in relationship charts, whether love will last once found or fade away. When viewed entirely from love, romance, friendship or partnership situations, Juno can be quite telling. While Libra and the 7th house defines one’s challenges and capacity to love or to attract love into one’s life, as well as one’s need or ability to sustain harmonious relationships, it is Juno that will determine if it will hold, stay together or work. Juno is a critical part of any reading that assesses compatibility. It opens a window to examine relationship potential, pitfalls, challenges, risks, opportunities and hope.

Juno is important in assessing teamwork, where two or more people must come together to work as a team to achieve a specific goal or task or to run or operate a business. They may like each other at first, but will they last?
